My CV

• I'm currently working as Bioinformatics Scientist at Illumina, Inc. I joined the DRAGEN development team since June 2019.

• I worked as a Researcher at Beijing Genomics Institute

• I did an internship, as Computational Biologist intern, at Ancestry.com

• I earned my PhD in Bioinformatics, supervised by Prof. Hyun Min Kang.

• I received a master degree in Statistic from University of Michigan, a bachelor degree in Bioengineering and Computer Science from South China University of Technology.

• I use R and Python for fast prototyping and use C++ to implement high-performance features and projects.

• I believe software engineering methods like Design Patterns and Unit Test are important to robust and efficient software development.

• I am also actively following domain knowledge in bioinformatics and nature language processing.
